Last night my old school homie Jessica and I went to see Cobra Starship at Revolution. This was a total last minute show, and it sold out a little before we got to the venue. Luckily this dude who works there/who likes jessica hooked it up with tickets. haha yeahh I was pretty glad that we didn't pay because the line up was kind of lame. Not really my type of show, but we wanted to see Cobra since we missed them last time (like 2 yrs ago? when they played with Head Automatica in Orlando).

Oh man there were so many little kids at this show! like 8th + 9th graders on a field trip, decked out in hot topic cupcake and bow loving fluorescent band shirt wearing kids...it was weird, and they went apeshit for Gabe Saporta. I was really amazed by it..and hated all of it. They don't really know who Gabe Saporta is, they don't know who Midtown was, and I will get off my high horse now. I was just annoyed by them.

Hit the Lights played, I heard of them but never listened to them before.. nothing special about them.....but as their outro they started to play Pantera "Walk" and that was the only time my fists were in the air. RE....SPECT... WALK! WHAT DID YOU SAY????? that was probably the sickest part of the show. only a few dudes (out of the sold out venue) knew what was going on haha

Cobra Starship's set was pretty good. Awesome light show, dance party galore. Their drummer is adorable! And their guitarist is from Boca?? He had mentioned it was a home show for him and his mom and brother were in the crowd, and said the high school he went to. Kind of interesting, South Florida represent boyyeee.
