I was with family and friends this weekend for Thanksgiving. It was a wonderful coming home...I haven't been in South Florida in about 5 months, so there were many faces to be kissed and bodies that needed to be hugged and embraced and loved.

I got home on Wednesday and went out to dinner with Sabine, Elena and Simone at this nice Thai place in downtown delray. Thanksgiving was Thursday with family and that night we went to Gula's house for Phalanxgiving...I am excited for the phalanx to play in Orlando in a few weeks...the boys will be in my area for once, it will be nice. Black Friday shopping with my sister was awesome. I bought 2 pairs of jeans and a new bag which in my book means a successful trip. Afterwards I went to Miami with Sabine and saw THRICE. On Saturday, Mona and I drove back to Tampa, where we then had sushi with Yvette and then I drove back to Orlando for work the next morning. So here I am now....doing my Sunday update for once, looking back at all the fun I had, all the great South Florida friends that I love and miss, and it was a really great Thanksgiving break. I am thankful for all of my friends and family being bad ass.

I'm excited to go back to South Florida in a few weeks for Christmas! ay carumba 2007 has gone by quick.

Yvette and I went to Epcot for the 2007 International Food & Wine Festival! It was awesome because I have a coworker that works at both Disney and Universal, so he hooked us up with the park-hopper ticket. So before we feasted in Epcot we enjoyed Magic Kingdom and some of Animal Kingdom and then headed over to Epcotweezy. There was so much delicious kinds of food...and you know how much I love food.

There were a few countries that we decided on not tasting their cuisine because it what was offered seemed not to appetizing. We skipped out on Chile, Turkey, India (which I wished they had something good, but it was chutney stuff that I had a feeling was not going to be good)...Germany, Morocco, New Zealand, Greece and Peru. We did eat in Argentina, Mexico, Spain, Ireland, China, South Africa, Italy, Poland, Australia, France, Dominican Republic, and Canada.

Overall it was a great first experience for me. I love Disney and have always seen billboards for Epcot's food and wine festival and was excited to actually go this year.
