Mmmm...mid-week update.

There was some state standardized testing today for the freshmen, so the whole schools schedule was messed up. All my fun classes were today, and all my academic classes are tomorrow.

In Jewelry class, we're making metal pendants, and my giraffe is starting to look really nice! I brought my camera to school today to document the fun. and document I did.

Hurricane Katrina was nothing but a waste of time. As soon as I came home from a half day of school on Thursday (and shortly after I made the last post) I took a nap, and as soon as I woke up, the lights on my cd player were off and we lost power at 4:09pm. I was not thrilled. I went to bed sweating and woke up FREEZING because the power came back early in the morning on Friday. There was basically no damage anywhere tree wise.

Friday was no school so I worked, and then partied with Ari and Rachel. Good quality time I'd say.

Today was a half day at school, and tomorrow there is no school. Why? BECAUSE TROPICAL STORM KATRINA IS GOING TO BE HURRICANE KATRINA AND ITS COMING RIGHT FOR ME. No seriously...the projected path is nuts. I am not stoked on losing power, having no AC, and being hot.

She (Katrina) seriously ruined my plans. Today I was supposed to go see Charlie and the Chocolate Factory at the IMAX theatre and just have a fun time before I work all weekend. But now I really don't know what's going on for the next 3 days. ay yi yi. Why must Florida be such a hurricane magnet. It sucks.

Ahhhh, what a wonderful couple days it has been! The weather has been disgustingly hot, but that's okay.

Thursday night I had dinner with my friend Fallon who I haven't seen since the end of freshmen year. She's still the same funny person and I'm glad she hasn't changed. Friday night I worked 5-close with my favorite manager and my best friend, thus, hence, therefore, we had a great time. At Delia's, we got these new vests that serve no purpose in Florida. Ari and I HAD to try them on though...they were just so funny looking.



On Saturday I had lunch with ELENA!!! and we had so much to catch up on. She starts her first day of college tomorrow. Everyone is growing up...it's exciting.

It's Tuesday, yet it feels like Wednesday.
I was supposed to change the layout in June, but I loved my Scrabble, so it stayed longer. And today I figured it was time to move on.

It's simple, and I like it. And if you like it, awesome, and if you don't it doesn't matter because it's not your site. HAAAAAAAAHAHAHA...yeah

I'm officially a photographer on shakewithsound.com! My first duty was to take pictures at Warped Tour (reason for my photo pass) and Monica just put up everything on the site today. So if you want a bigger/nicer version of my warped tour pictures, go to the site and see what's up.

I had quite an amazing weekend. I got paid on Friday night and so now my bank account is nice and fluffy again. On Saturday morning, Melissa stopped by my house before she left for her drive up to Gainesville for college. Then on Saturday evening I got a call from my Pops and he said I got a car. Yeahhhhhhh boyyeeeeeeeee. It's a dark gray '94 Honda Civic LX.


Melissa yelled "NO MORE RULESSSS" and she's pretty stoked to be on her own now.


And here is my car!!! I don't know what I'm going to name it, but it has to be something good. And yes, that is bird crap on the door.

First day of school yesterday was pretty exciting. We all rule the school, and luckily senioritis hasn't kicked in yet. A lot of people seem to have disappeared because I really have no idea where some people are. My classes aren't too bad, I'm glad this is my last year of high school. I don't mind waking up earlier to pack a bad ass lunch. haha it's good to have a steady regular lunch schedule again.

My American Govt teacher is pretty chill. He has a pony tail (in which his hair is longer than mine) and is probably like 26 or 27 and he used to sing in a bunch of metal bands. He also mentioned that he's played in every club from West Palm Beach to Miami, and he's super lenient with everything. He rules.

On Saturday, I taped Reggie when they played "Your Girlfriend Hates Me" and it's up in the video section.

I have a new section up called "People" and for some reason the info is all distorted and I tried fixing it and what not and I tried my hardest. but it's retarded no matter what. oh well!

Warped Tour yesterday was the best Warped experience I have ever had. Seriously. I had so much fun, met new friends and hung out with old ones.

and now I have 200 pictures to edit. and also work at 1oclock. I'm hoping I'll be done tomorrow, if not, check on Tuesday.

I just got an email confirmation for a photo pass for Warped tour. Tomorrow is going to be magical. I. am. stoked.

I was up until 2am this morning watching TLC. All these crazy doctor shows were on, one being "Untold Stories of the E.R." I LOVE that one. It's so interesting. After that was a crazy story of Feral Children which are kids who grow up in the wild. I learned a little about Feral Children in my Psychology class last year, so it was interesting to find out more about it. There was this one girl in the Ukraine whose parents were drunks and when she was 3 she was cold and went into the doghouse outside and found warmth by cuddling with the dogs. And she spent 5 years hanging out with the dogs. So when they were filming her, you'd see her galloping along like a dog on all fours, and she was even barking (and sounding) like a dog...it was craaazy.
