Tonight Across Five Aprils played at Island Oasis. It was my first time at this venue and it certainly did not look like an oasis. Kind of looked like a piece of crap, with "MOSH AT YOUR OWN RISK" written in duct tape above the stage. Anyhoos, I usually stay and watch the whole show to help support the other bands, but there was a documentary tonight on ABC that I had to watch. So shortly after Across Five Aprils played, I watched a little bit of Scars of Tomorrow and skiddadled out of there.

A5A only played 5 or 6 songs. I was a little bummed that the set was so short, although they closed with "Blue-Eyed Suicide" which always pleases me.

Today was an outstanding day for many reasons.

1. Got paid. haaaayyyyyy.
2. When I came home I discovered the new issue of AP magazine has finally come to my apartment rather than my parents house.
3. Got a notice saying I have 2 packages to pick up in the apt office.
(a. Package 1 = Johnny Cupcakes shirt! ! ! !)
(b. Package 2 = IATA shirt + old Movielife cd that I got from an online sale for madd cheap.)


I've been wanting to get the teeth shirt for a long long time and finally decided to spoil myself and get it. I lovelovelovelovelove Johnny Cupcakes. The fact that he has cupcake tissue wrapping paper, and adds little surprises like a j.cupcake button and a MINT.....so outstanding. This is why I continuously support this brand! Presentation is everything and it seels the deal. He also ships super fast. Kudos to you johnny and your bomb-ass business.

I had the most bananas weekend of 2007 so far!

Thursday night Elspeth and I went downtown and danced in celebration of her birthday! We also hit up the good midnight pizza place of choice. On Friday night I was reunited with Loree. We watched Little Miss Sunshine, and that is the cutest movie!!! Saturday I worked for the morning/afternoon and then played in the parks with Sabine and Loree! They were both here for different reasons and I actually had to bounce between Universal Studios, where Sabine and her friends were, and Islands of Adventures, where Loree and her friends were. It was a fantastic friend filled weekend. I was really happy to see the both of them, I missed them oh so much.

On Sunday night I took Elspeth (again for her birthday) to see YOUNG LOVE! 2 of the opening bands were amazing, and Young Love killledddddddddddd it. What a dance party that was...for serious.

On Sunday night I went to the Scary Kids Scaring Kids show. They were pretty awesome. They played mostly old songs and only 2 new ones, I was hoping for more, but they weren't headliners for the tour, so it's okay. I met some interesting people and had fun. The House of Blues security guys are sweeties.


By the way, that new MTV show "Engaged & Underaged" is fantastic.

Trayc came up to Orlando for a Less Than Jake show and decided to come and play at the universal parks! I was so happy to see her!! She makes me smile extra big! She brought her friend Amy and we partiedddddd.

Lastly, I made Kool-Aid today. I really enjoy it, you know why? BECAUSE I'M OLD SCHOOL WITH MY DRANK. MMMMM...SO DELICIOUS DAT KOOL-AIDDDD.

Oh yeah, I made a bio. I figured it was time since I had "coming soon" in that section for about 2 years.

So I worked until 6:30pm, stopped by Publix to pick up some healthy foods and came home to catch the SuperBowl half time show. I thought it was funny how Prince sang "Purple Rain" as it rained. And of course since the SuperBowl is in South Florida it would rain. typical. so typical of SoFla.

The other morning I was super late for work, and as I was stuck in traffic I saw this vehicle near by. It was a red PT cruiser with "QUESOMOVIL" written on the side and "Honk if you like cheese!" on the back. so awesome. (also, I did not honk seeing as we were stuck in traffic and I would have looked like an a-hole honking at that dude from a distance)
