The past 6 days I've seen 6 movies. Not on purpose really, they just happened in my life!

Taken (2008) was on HBO and what a thriller! I was annoyed with the 17yr old daughter telling strangers her business because obviously euros are going to abduct young dumb Americans, but the Dad was so bad ass..if you haven't seen it, WATCH IT. IT'S TIGHT. A++

Notorious (2009) was also on HBO and I was pretty excited! I remember when Tupac died, and I remember when Biggie died. I had no plans on seeing this movie in theaters but knew I wanted to eventually see what happened in his life. I was bummed that Angela Bassett played Biggie's Mom and didn't have a Jamaican accent. Voletta Wallace is from da island! Faith Evans story is good, and Lil Kim's involvement is sad. No more spoilers, WATCH IT IF YOU LOVE HIP HOP! IT'S TIGHT. A++

This Is England (2006) I saw This Is England on Kiersten's Netflix Instant Queue, and was stoked she had it but of course upon further investigation it was Eric who downloaded it. I went over to their place and watched it on Sunday night. It was awesome! The non-racist skinhead Woody looks exactly like Dana Beal's older brother, and it was distracting. But besides that, it was an awesome story line, and I loved the chelsea girls. WATCH IT IF YOU UP THE PUNX? and if you don't, it was TIGHT REGARDLESS. A++

Hot Tub Time Machine (2010) A coworker of mine downloaded this movie and gave it to me on a flash drive. It had it's funny parts, but I'd be upset if I paid to see this movie in theaters. It was okay.. wait for it on HBO. B--

TOY STORY 3 (2010) OMGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG
SO GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOODDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD
I CAN'T TALK TO ANYONE ABOUT THIS UNLESS THEY'VE ALREADY SEEN IT.
I love Toy Story so much, especially Woody. And yes, I did cry. Parts of it really get to you. A must see for the summer. TIGHTEST MOVIE OF 2010. A++++++

Eclipse (2010) I saw it today with Kiersten and Ari. We certainly did not go to a midnight showing, but matinee on opening day was fine with us. It was way better than Twilight and New Moon. Things are getting hot and heavy and all the characters are attractive. Carlisle Cullen is my forever my favorite. I think Bella is a slut and that's all I'm going to say. Thumbs up for spanish/native american men in cut-off denim shorts! OBVIOUSLY TIGHT. A++

My work gave me a birthday card accompanied by a gift certificate to Carabba's! I love when birthday cards are passed around at work because I usually write something special for the recipient, even if I don't know them that well. There's a guy named Julio who works upstairs, and he always writes the stupidest, most ridiculous things on cards and I was pumped for him to write on my card. I've gotten to know him recently and instead of the normal jokingly "Remember the time we did crack in the parking lot" for someone he doesn't know, he wrote something nice and equally funny for me.

"Another year of our precious lives has come and gone and we must always be mindful of the fact that we must always move forward, make progress, grow in our minds, enrich our spirits, mature, aquire wisdom and inch closer to fulfilling that beautiful goal & purpose that chosen for us, in my case art&music, in your case you must search your heart and bravely pursue that dream and that career that will bring you untold amounts of joy and happiness where you will be serving God's children meanwhile making an abundant living that will grant you the freedom to travel, save for the future, give to charity, buy booze (hopefully better champagne than the fermented apple juice they gave me at that bar) and explore cool new hobbies and ventures such as investing in a unique collection of monopoly board games that are branded with such iconic characters such as the Simpsons, Dora the Explorer Monopoly, Monopoly Millenium edition, the monopoly where the spaces are US cities like Vegas & D.C. instead of Boardwalk & Park Place, the GI Joe monopoly and many other unusual & eclectic hobbies & collections with all of the new found wealth you will have aquired from showing the upmost courage to live your dreams and nobody elses, especially when a time-card is involved, thats not living. But I know your spirit is strong and you will serve as a beacon of greatness and excellence for your peers as you are already one to make us all smile when we see yours :D (Happy Birthday!)
-Julio 2010 "

I had a retarded busy day yesterday. Busy is good though, it keeps things interesting. I ended my evening at Kiersten's place where we watched a great amount of reality TV, and right when I was about to leave, a documentary on DRAKE came on. Kiersten loves Drake, so much. I just downloaded his new cd, he's the fucking best. The beat on "Show Me A Good Time" is soooo good. Kiersten also showed me her grocery receipt...

huh???
YES. LOL WHITE AMERICAN BANANAS.

It's actually Land O'Lakes White American Cheese, and some bananas.

Twitter needs to do some kind of upgrade...they are over capacity WAY too often. I need my 140 character fix. I'm tweakin' I'm tweakin'

I watched USA vs. Algeria for 70 mins and then had to go to work...got to work, checked yahoo and saw USA 1 Algeria 0!!!!!!!!!!! CAN WE TALK ABOUT THIS? USA IS GOING TO THE NEXT ROUND????? hoooooooo weeeeeeee!!!!!!!!!! Nice job Landon Donovan. If I had a vuvuzela, I'd blow it. Right now.

My birthday week ended with a quickie trip to Orlando!

I held some legs, enjoyed universal employee benefits, slept on Janine's couch, met the BEAST in Epcot Morocco, shook my hips in Magic Kingdom, drank an irish car bomb in Epcot England, and love love loved my Orlando family <3

I don't know why, but I like holding legs in pictures recently.

Kiersten did my make up. She is a magician! I always ask for the ice princess and stripper lashes. That might not make sense to most, but it makes perfect sense to us.

After dinner, Benihana took our picture and gave it to me! It comes with a username and password to download from their website. You can then upload it to your facebook, twitter and email it to others from the site. Pretty hip, Benihana.

Fun money saving tip-- When you sign up for their email club at least a month before your birthday, they will send you a $30 gift certificate to use in your birthday month. And you bet your ass that's what I did!

I got 101 notifications of birthday love. After a moment of hitting 101, facebook brings it back to 99. This morning I clicked on it, and then I still had 11 afterwards. I've never seen that many in my life!

It's my birthday! I'm 22!

eeeeeeeeeeeeee

I've been watching a lot of the World Cup. This may be part of the reason...

Of course I am for Team USA, because duh I love being an American. However, I love watching when someone scores a goal because at that moment, someone's life just changed. Their entire country is stoked, their family is so proud, and now they can forever tell a story about how they went to the world cup and scored a goal in front of the world. That's such a big deal. One little goal.

Or they can embarrass themselves and get a red card. I've seen that twice already today.

Fellow Happy Birthday to my birthday twinsies... Mary-Kate & Ashley Olsen, Rivers from Weezer, Raz-B from B2K, Ethan Embry and Tim Allen.

Uhnet's friend Mel took this picture when we were at Shoreline Village. I was nom'ing on strawberry cheesecake ice cream.

On Monday night, a couple girls from work enjoyed Chili's forever 2 for 1 dranks. I was done with my drinks, but the girls kept ordering and I had nothing to hold for the pic, so I grabbed Stacie's margarita mix! gotta improvise sometimes

I missed the MTV movie awards with Aziz Ansari, and can never catch the repeat on TV. So instead now I'm going to watch it on demand online + do laundry + organize before the weekend workload hurricane.

I've been listening to La Roux's self titled album all week and I am HOOKED. It's so good. "Bulletproof" reeled me in and now I am a believer.

We have coordinated birthday parties at my work every weekend, and I swear I saw Rick Ross on Friday! I walked down the hall and saw this husky dude with a bald head, and thick beard, sunglasses, and a rapper style chain. I didn't say anything to him, or hope that "Every Day I'm Hustlin" came on the work iPod, but my co-worker Jessica said it wasn't him. It might have been his kid's birthday, but I was dead set on this dude being Rick Ross.

Then last night while trying to escort drunk customers out of the bar, one guy looks at my name tag and says "....Fajita?" I couldn't help but laugh and say, "Yes sir, Fajita" and then shoo them out of the bar so I could go home and live my liiiife!

Summer has been pretty nice. I've just been working and coordinating events for the fall and getting excited about my birthday coming up! eeeeee

Comeback Kid is one of my favorite bands of all time. This is "Partners in Crime" & "Wake the Dead" from when they played at Chain Reaction on May 15! When it comes to video recording my favorite bands, it's hard for me to record the entire song because I just want to go ape shit and dance around.

And here is a little bit of Earth Crisis from California Metal Fest 5/16.

Andy Hurley from Fall Out Boy was playing drums for Earth Crisis. I saw the Fuck City logo on the drum kit, and then drum beast Hurley came out and confirmed the speculation. That dude rules.

Jackson has the cutest baby cheeks. Watching him eat is a delight, and I might be a creep, but here are 2 videos of him eating............because I love it! and I love him! #1 baby in Orange County!

Also I was watching Thick As Blood play at California Metal Fest, and they wanted a wall of death ... and although it looked promising, it did not work out as planned.

I get bummed out whenever I read about bands getting their trailer stolen or someone breaking into their van. However this time, hearing the story hits home with my friends John & Peter's band Protagonist.

They are missing $22,700 worth of stuff. A list of the equipment lost is here.

"If anyone has any information please email PROTAGONISTSTOLENGEAR@GMAIL.COM or call BRIAN at (561)212-9879

We also set up a paypal account linked to PROTAGONISTSTOLENGEAR@GMAIL.COM so if anyone has a few extra bucks it would be greatly appreciated to say the least."

These are my dudes, and if you can help them out at all that would be great.
