My thanksgiving break was outstanding. I saw a lot of my lovelies and there were hugs and kisses for all. Well not really, but you know..anyways Wednesday I went shopping with Sabine and Fallon!! Forever 21 always delivers the cuteness. Friday morning I woke up and worked at Delia's for a few hours to help out with Black Friday. I saw a lot of old friends and hung out with good peoples. Later that night Elena and I went and watched Sam's band play at this arcade/skatepark type place. The Phalanx played wonderfully and got a good response from the crowd. Saturday I worked and then partied in the night with Ari. We visited my friend Nesto while he was working. Then I saw Borat again because Mona and Ari didn't see it yet and I wanted them to enjoy and understand the things I say when I quote that movie. haha...............................

by the way, a crazy gypsy woman with 1 tooth came up to me at the mall when I was sitting on a bench alone waiting for Ari to come back from the bathroom. She handed me a business card about her psychic reading and was like "you come today for free reading. today only!" and I was like...no thanks YA CRAZY GYPSY!!!!!! just kidding. I didn't say that, but I think she might have been a crazy woman who might have put a curse on me. I gave that card to Nesto. I hope he passed it on to someone else. haha

This update is pretty late. I was stuck in traffic for a good hour just chillin, driving 5-15 mph. At one point of time a black poodle jumped out of it's owners car and right in front of my car. If I didn't break, I would have killed it. But I did break, and I did not kill it. That girl was stupid for having her car window down so low. ay yi yi.

Okay that's a long text update. No pictures......because there are tons in the photo section. I love you.

Happy Thanksgiving to you...Happy Thanksgiving to you....Happy Thanksgiving dear Americans including the real ones aka Native Americans...Happy Thanksgiving to you!

Today is a very exciting day where families come together and eat a gigantic meal together and then get super sleepy because of the turkey aka because Turkey does contain L-tryptophan, an essential amino acid with a documented sleep inducing effect. L-tryptophan is used in the body to produce the B-vitamin, niacin. Niacin, in turn, is used to produce serotonin, a neurotransmitter that exerts a calming effect and regulates sleep.

Anyways, I am thankful for many things. I am thankful for my friends and family, my good health, my best friend Ari, my sweetums James, my car when it doesn't give me problems. I am thankful for the boys and men out there who still open the doors for ladies, the warm smiles from cheerful people who enjoy their jobs, the low gas prices in orlando, and I'm thankful that the weather is sooooooo nice in Florida right now. My favorite time of the year is now and it ROOOOLZZZ.

I'm super excited for tomorrow's Black Friday festivities. It's going to be bananas at the mall and I am ready for it.

By the way, I woke up too late and missed the Thanksgiving Day Parade on tv. oh wellz.

When I was getting my free Head Automatica poster signed by the dudes, there was a photographer taking pictures of everyone. All the meet&greet pictures are on the HeadAuto site and here is mine.

Last night after I finished a huge paper that is due on Monday, I was talking to my friend Sam and I got a sudden craving for the McDonalds McGriddle. I had my first McGriddle last week when my sister introduced me to it....it was delicious. So I promised I'd wake myself early this morning so I could get one (i'm never up early enough on sundays)...so I put my alarm clock on at 8am, and I didn't wake up until 10am...which means I had 30 minutes to get to McDonalds and get one...anyways, McDonalds was packed off the chain, like it was a club or something. Club McDonalds...anyways, I got my McGriddle and Breakfast Burrito and came home and discovered ANTZ! was on HBO.

How cute is it that they have the M engraved into the mcgriddle! I love it. And my sister thinks I'm disgusting because I like the breakfast burrito and the mild picante sauce. I'm not sorry that it is delicious.

You know I had a pretty boring weekend when the highlight is a freaking mcgriddle.

I'm looking forward to going home this week for xTHANKSGIVINGx!!!!! Mashed potatoes, Jerk chicken, cranberry sauce, stuffing, macaroni and cheese, turkey & gravy!!!!!!! gluttony to the max. I am so excited for the feast and to see my friends and family! I am going to make a total 3rd grader list of what I am thankful for on Thursday.

I also forgot to mention on my Sunday post that I attended the Reggie and the Full Effect / Hellogoodbye show on Saturday evening. Reggie was wonderful.

HGB were jokesters as usual, although they did not come out for an encore wearing costumes, which was a disappointment. Also Reggie didn't come out and do Flux or Common Denominator and that too was a disappointment. Whatev....I had fun anywayz.

My sister bought this fundraiser book filled with coupons from restaurants all over the Tampa area. Sooo this weekend I hit up Tampa and got tons of free food. It was pretty awesome. Indiafest 2006 also coincided with this weekend, and we went to that too. It was my first time going and it was like culture shock. Yes I am part Indian, but I never really got in touch with my Indian side....and walking into the USF Sun Dome where it was being held....it was like BAM INDIAAAAAAAAA. There were different dance competitions and some of Mona's friends participated. Mona's favorite Indian drink is Mango Lassi and we got sum-o-dat and enjoyed our Indian culture. haha

When we were driving in downtown Tampa all the traffic lights started to turn green one by one. It reminded me of that beginning scene in "Meet The Fockers" ..it was cute. My sister's sorority sister blinged out the crap out of her phone. Definitely makes my sidekick look like crap.

Today before I went home, we hit up Golden Corral. Now I have always seen commercials and signs for Golden Corral but I have never been there..I just knew it was a buffet. It was pretty much like a family barbecue Sweet Tomatoes, but with meat. I felt pretty fat afterwards and I will not go to Golden Corral for a very long time. Everytime I leave a buffet place I always remember why I rarely go to buffets. I always hate myself afterwards. They had "Awesome Pot Roast" ...and it really was awesome.

Mmmmm...November has been wonderful so far! The weather has been l o v e l y .

In the last 3 days I've seen Saw III, Marie Antionette, and BORAT! Saw III was sooo goodddd...and the way they end it, you know there will be a Saw 4. Marie Antionette was a wonderful era-movie. I really did learn a few things about Marie Antionette that I didn't know, and Jason Schwartzman was hilarious as King Louis. I was expecting them to cut off her head at the end, but of course they didn't...but I was really hoping they would though. It would have been interesting. and Borat...BORAT...of course that was phenomenal. My stomach hurt from laughing so much....that's how funny it was.

Last night Jessica and I went to Hard Rock Live to see Head Automatica/Cobra Starship. Tickets were sold out, but we found a girl who was selling tickets, and she WAS NOT a scalper, she was just getting rid of her tickets, and I actually saved money buying tickets from her then if I bought them from Ticketmaster like she did. haha woooo (by the way, they were balcony seats!! so we got to see the show from general admission and went up to the balcony when we wanted to sit haha). So we got in late and missed Cobra Starship and The Receiving End of Sirens, and I was bummed because I really wanted to see Gabe and I've never seen TREOS live. I've never heard of Rock Kills Kid until last night and there's a reason for that...no bueno, but whatever. Head Automatica was sooo good. Daryl Palumbo's stage presence is awesome and adorable because he is tiny! Afterwards we were walking around and I saw Gabe! He is so much taller than I thought. He recognized Jessica's perfume and then they started speaking Spanish..no joke. "Are you spanish? Me too.. laca laca laca laca(laca = them speaking spanish that I don't understand)" that's what happened. haha but he was a pretty cool dude and he said I shouldn't have missed their set because it was awesome...I'll see them next time I suppose. Since it's a MTV2 tour, FYE had a sponsored signing area. I got a free Head Automatica poster and met the band...and that's usually not how I like to meet bands because it's like a forced awkward meeting situation, but a free poster is a free poster and Daryl Palumbo is a tiny tiny man.

30 seconds to Jared Leto's band was SOOO WEIRDDDDDDDDD. First of all, their backdrop was of a huge crowd of asians with their eyes blacked out [WHICH I HATED BECAUSE IT REMINDED ME OF THE GRUDGE :( ]and had a white/red theme and Jared Leto and his band were all dressed up in white. And it was weird to see him singing and screaming and playing guitar....what's this actor doing thinking he's a rockstar??!?!?! I dunno...maybe he is, but I wasn't into his stuff at all, his whole concert was kind of cult like. We left before they came out to do their encore.

All in all, it was a great night.

Head Automatica from the balcony.

creepy 30 seconds to Jared Leto.
