These are from the 2006 collection, so pretty much non-existant and virtually impossible to find...do Gucci outlet stores exist? I would loveee both pairs. ughhh yes

and I saw the 2009 release of the slip-ons, and they are not as cute.

P.S. Gucci slip ons run for $425! ha!


Anyways, this week has gone by rather fast. The february releases for A|X have been coming in all week so I have been busy at work. School and work and school and work. Now it's the weekend :)

Lastly, I got my first ever speeding ticket a few days ago. I was going 62 in a 45 zone. That means $206 :( Now I am no speed racer, but this is the street that I drive fast on on my way to school because no one is ever there.....but someone was there on the day I got my ticket. A cop on a motorcycle with a radar gun who went into the road and put out his hand and got me. Ay yi yiiiiiii

Monday I caught the flu and have been sick all week...and it then escalated to an eye infection as of last night and this morning. I went to the regular doctor today for some help and have another appointment on monday for the eye doctor. bacteria sucksssssssssss

I drank some tea and am wide awake. About to bake nestle's white chocolate macadamia nut cookies.


I usually only wear nike dunks and vans slip ons, but this crooks x vans collabo is bananas!!



I don't even care that they are mens shoes. It hasn't stopped me before, it won't now! haha.. CC is releasing them next month, and the guy said $120 .. ooof! It's so worth it. That shoe is so tight haha...another sucky thing is that they are selling it in store only ...and I do not live in Los Angeles :(

Don't you worry, I'll find a way. I'mma get dat shoe boyyyeeeeeeeee.

So I missed the inauguration. ughhh... My teacher let us leave class to go watch it and by the time I got to my car in the parking lot and turned on the radio Obama was already giving his speech. I'll have to watch it on cnn.com or sumsing.

Also every radio station was playing inauguration coverage except y-100 (top 40 WHITE channel). typical. 99 jamz, power 96, 103.5 the beat were all in sync with coverage, "urban" channels. hah

Anyways, his speech as a whole was pretty good, but there were 2 parts that I really liked..

and

I voted for Barack Obama and I am really proud to have him as my president. WE HAVE A BLACK PRESIDENT Y'ALL!!!!! so amazing. I'm ready for change.

I'm going to take a nap right now, I seem to have picked up cholera or small pox yesterday. Last night I was freezing, took a nap and woke up sweating. Sweat all night ... and woke up feeling like death. ughhhh i hate being sick. NAP TIME.

Last night Yvette and I saw This is Hell and The Sleeping at the culture room! The show was soooo good. The first show of the new year was fantastic :)

The tour just started, so definitely catch them on their jan/feb tour.

So the first official week of 2009 is over, and what a few couple days it has been. Shortly after my post on Jan 1, a ridiculous virus took over my computer and ruined everything. My dad was able to help me get my music files and some misc. school + pictures off, but my photoshop is gone, about 3 years of pictures were gone (but are backed up on various places on ze internet) and all this crap......but live and learn right?

SO LEARN FROM MY MISTAKE.....UPDATE ALL ANTI-VIRUS SOFTWARES, MAL-WARES, SPY-WARE, whatever.......updates to your windows, to your macs (do they do that?) to your lives...just beware people, it's not 1999, but viruses are still very real !!

Spring semester has started, it's too early to complain or discuss.

Sometime last month I started watching full epsiodes of shows (The Office, 30 Rock) on hulu.com, and today I finally got into It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia and Arrested Development .... and yes I just realized I am about 4 years late on It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia but hey, at least I'm there.

A couple days ago I bought these ridiculous leather boots for $15, which said $80 originally, and then the lady at the register told me to google the bootmaker, and apparently it's this fancy Italian designer? and real leather? haha ...yeah I get down with that.

So wowee-wee-wah, 2008 is ova. I am ready for the new year, because 2009 is a great year!

December was a pretty busy month, but for some reason I just didn't photograph a lot of it. Fall semester ended, I got 3 A's and 1 B, my cumulative GPA went up, yay. I worked a lot for the retail holiday season. Spent a few days in orlando with all my O-town homies, which included celebrating Leonard's birthday since I missed it in September. I worked some of Universal's holiday season. Christmas wasn't such a big deal as it usually is, mainly because my sister wasn't home for Christmas. But so is life, and I guess it's all apart of growing up....ay yi yi .. New Years Eve was fun with Elena and Sam. new pics are up! No more 2008 pictures!
